A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to teach, dive, and live off-grid in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

About the role

We’re looking for someone who will bring warmth, creativity, and professionalism to our island life — someone who loves teaching but also thrives on adventure and connection.

  • Communicate regularly and positively with distance education teachers

  • Encourage students to stay engaged and challenged throughout their online lessons, helping them deepen their understanding and confidence.

  • Foster a calm, supportive learning environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and a love of discovery.

  • Help both children grow in confidence, independence and love of learning

  • Maintain classroom structure while adapting lessons to our environment

You will also assist in resort or guest relation duties, so flexibility, initiative, and good interpersonal skills are essential.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Holds a recognised teaching qualification (primary)

  • Is familiar with the Australian Curriculum, *distance education experience a bonus

  • Is organised, tech-savvy, and confident navigating online learning platforms

  • Is patient, kind and encouraging, with strong communication skills

  • Enjoys collaboration with remote teaching teams

  • Brings a positive, proactive energy to island life and learning

  • Is open to adventure, loves nature, and embraces community
